Almost twelve months in the making, the all-new Topshop.com from Poke came tip-toeing down the catwalk today. We were pretty much done in June with the design work, so it’s really nice to see it finally go live.
Not so obvious on the face of it, is that behind the new look lies a top-to-bottom re-fit […]

Another exposé-by-numbers of factory-farmed meat in the UK. (Not that i’m pro this stuff you understand, but haven’t we seen this all before?). I remember when TV chefs actually cooked on TV.
This time however, the URL is a pun worthy of the mighty Roopenator … and so it gets a namecheck.
Youtube is removing copyrighted Comedy Central clips, following on from last weeks removal of 30,000 clips at the request of the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers. Their recent purchase by Google now means there’s real money to be had in online copyright infringement, as opposed to VC debt.
A nice observation from my colleague @ Poke, Iain Tait. Personally I think the Mods were making a concious statement of style with their adoption of the Italian scooter, whereas the Chavs just enjoy wheelie-ing down the road on stolen Jap crap.
I’m not a big car head really, but I wouldn’t mind having my impending mid-life crisis in the new Audi R8. Phwoar!

It’s clearly “inspired” by the mechanical mirror series of works by Daniel Rozen, my favourite being his original wooden mirror from 1999 for it’s juxtaposition between […]
Kind of obvious when you think about it (which I must admit I hadn’t), but Nike have commissioned an exclusive 45 minute mix from LCD Soundsystem for their Apple iPod kit. Another reason to buy that RED Nano …
Like the “difficult second album”, the new Sony Bravia advert “Paint” is unveiled.
It didn’t make the spine tingle like the first time I saw “Balls” but then again this time they chose to periodically give us glimpses via their production blog - thus removing the surprise factor somewhat.
The paint explosions have the potential to […]
This is a really good idea.
And like all really good ideas, it’s form explains itself. Simplicity itself.
Now if only mobile manufacturers would stop insisting on proprietary charger designs and follow the digital camera and music player brigade down the path of USB charging, my life would be so much less cluttered. It’s not hard […]
