PingPongPixel is an interactive art piece that builds lo-res representations of submitted images from balls of 6 different shades of grey. Check the video above, and you’ll get the idea.
It’s clearly “inspired” by the mechanical mirror series of works by Daniel Rozen, my favourite being his original wooden mirror from 1999 for it’s juxtaposition between natural materials and the digital pixelated image. Be sure to check the video.
