
Direct from New York, a box of chocs from my favourite vendor of legal Endorphin highs.
These are from the Italian Collection and mix chocolate with Olive Oil, Taleggio cheese (really), Tuscan Fennel Pollen (whatev-a), Balsamic Vinegar and Sicilian Sea Salt. Very poncy, and I dare not even think of the carbon footprint.
Never had their truffles before. Have generally stuck to the bars of exotic chocolate in past with this one being my favourite. The Taleggio one is definately, errr “interesting”, but I love Cheese too much to let anyone muck about with it (I could eat the stuff through next week). Of the others, the sea salt one is probably my favourite so far, but i’m still forming opinions.
To get your Chocolate fix nearer to home and with much less guilt, be sure to visit Rococo at World’s End or Marylebone High Street. I notice they’re now stocked in Waitrose too, which means the secret is out. Dammit.
