I’m Tom Hostler. I live in the east end of London, and I’m one of the founding partners of Poke - a creative agency in London that dreams up and produces some fine online ideas. Take a look and judge for yourself.
I’m a late starter at this. After working in digital media for over twelve years I thought it was time I actually contributed something to this complex, fascinating, living entity we call the Interweb - after all if you buy into this Long Tail theory, somebody somewhere will find it interesting, right? It’s also an opportunity for the repressed geek in me to play with code again and feel super-smart.
What else? I’m a keen-ish photographer, i’m interested in social history and am currently researching my family tree (if you’re a Hostler, get in touch via tom {at} hostler {dot} com). Music’s a big part of my life, although I can’t play a note myself.
I currently live in the Bow area of London, but have lived in Hoxton, Whitechapel, Epsom and Englefield Green in the past. I went to school and grew up in Leamington Spa, where my family is based.
